Delays on M6 after lane closure

A collision on the northbound carriageway of the M6 through Lancashire is causing delays.

Highways England said an accident occurred between junctions 27 (Standish) and 28 (Leyland) shortly before 9am on Saturday, July 29.

There is one lane closure in place with normal traffic conditions expected to return by 1.15pm.

The other two lanes remain open.

There are currently delays of 15 minutes.
