Tragic death of air rage mum-of-two
A Wigan woman who made international headlines when she was assaulted by her husband in a trans-Atlantic air rage incident has been found dead.
Mum-of-two Sharon Halliwell was attacked by her millionaire spouse Darren during a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Houston in 2015.
No foul play is suspected in this latest tragedy and the circumstances surrounding the 48-year-old’s death are being handled by the coroner.

Hide AdA coroner’s office spokesman said: “We have had the death of a Sharon Halliwell reported to us and that the deceased was pronounced life extinct at her home address in the Wigan area on April 18.”
An inquest has yet to open.
