Motorists face delays on M6 northbound The incident, on the M6 northbound carriage between J27 at Standish and J28 at Leyland, resulted in the closure of one lane.
All lanes have been reopened.
Drivers heading north now face a 45 minute delay and there is a five-mile queue heading northbound.
