Orrell 20-year-old Jack Thorogood launched his premium, organic cotton clothing brand in November 2019, achieving a long-held dream after studying business at GCSE and A-level.

“I have always been interested in fashion and had the thought of offering people something new,” said Jack.

“At Stealth Apparel UK we offer people the chance to wear premium quality, 100 per cent organic cotton T- Shirts with unique fashionable illustrations on them.

“Our motto is ‘Stand Out Whilst Blending In’ as our clothes stand out with bright colours and are different from other brands, whilst allowing people the chance to fit in with the crowd of being fashionable at a good price. We have also recently upgraded our hoodie supplier and now offer premium quality hoodies to wear.”

He added: “What makes our products unique are our designs.

“If you take a look through our website you will see many predatory animals that use stealth as a form of hunting. Our designs show those animals in stand out colours but blend them in to their surroundings, for example our Grizzly design which comes in form of a t-shirt and hoodie, which is one of our most popular designs, shows a grizzly bear in bright colours, but also has the trees and forest in the background in those same colours which allows the animal to blend in.

“These designs are simple yet unique and allow anyone to stand out wearing premium quality clothing at a reasonable price.”

Our journalists are highly trained by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) and our content is independently regulated by IPSO to some of the most rigorous standards anywhere in the world. Our content is universally trusted - as all independent research proves.

As Baroness Barran said in a House of Lords debate this week on the importance of journalists: "Not only are they a trusted source of facts, but they will have a role to play in rallying communities and getting the message across about how we can keep ourselves and our families safe, and protect our NHS. Undoubtedly, they have a critical role."

But being your eyes and ears comes at a price. So we need your support more than ever to buy our newspapers during this crisis. In return we will continue to forensically cover the local news - not only the impact of the virus but all the positive and uplifting news happening in these dark days.
