Wigan Infirmary staff say farewell to council photographer discharged from hospital

Dave Green, a council photographer, has been discharged from Royal Albert Edward Infirmary’s Winstanley Ward, after battling the virus.

And staff were on hand to say farewell to him as he returns home.

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, tweeted: "Our amazing staff lined the corridors this weekend to say farewell to Dave, who has been discharged from Royal Albert Edward Infirmary’s Winstanley Ward and is on his way home. We wish him, and everyone battling COVID-19, the very best in their continued recovery."
