Wigan's Chinese New Year celebrations cancelled amid Coronavirus outbreak
Wigan's Chinese New Year celebrations will no longer take place this weekend.
The news was confirmed in a tweet by Wigan Museums and Archives this afternoon.
At least 213 people in China have died from the virus, with almost 10,000 cases nationally.

Hide AdThere have been more than 100 cases in another 22 countries, including two from the UK.
A council spokesperson said: "As far as we know the events scheduled at The Fire Within are still on.
"The events connected with the Museum of Wigan Life have been cancelled because they are run by the Confucius Classroom."
