The weekly outings are organised by Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles.

It is a chance for people to walk around the beautiful Wigan Flashes and take part in a different activity each week.

The walks are family-friendly and free, making them an ideal way to spend an afternoon during the school holiday.

Walkers should meet at 1.30pm on Tuesdays at the Greenheart car park at Wigan Flashes.

This is one of a series of walks held across the borough every week.

There are walks in a variety of locations, such as Pennington Flash, Orrell Water Park and Haigh Woodland Park.

They include guided walks, nordic walks, power walks, nature walks, bat walks, hill walks and walks with dogs.
