A WOMAN has denied allegations she continuously harassed her former partner and his family, with countless phone calls, letters and voicemails, refusing to believe the relationship was over.

Catherine Carter of Canberra Road, Marsh Green, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of failing to apply to her community order of a curfew at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court.

She also denied two charges of assault by beating on September 11 and 14, a criminal damage charge on September 14 and a harassment charge on September 11.

The court heard that the 37-year-old allegedly had attacked her ex-boyfriend Martin Wynne.

Other charges also relate to her allegedly hand delivering scores of letters to his address.

Not only this, she apparently rang his phone and left a number of voicemails countless times.

Carter denies all allegations.

After discussions with both the prosecution and defence solicitors magistrates decided to remand Carter in custody.

A trial will take place to determine a verdict on Thursday October 8 at Liverpool Crown Court at 9.30am.
