A woman has made contact after police urged her to get in touch following a dispute in Wigan.
Shortly before 8pm yesterday (Tuesday), police were called to Kipling Avenue following concerns for the welfare of a woman.
Witnesses reported a man had been involved in a dispute with a woman in Kipling Park.
Police urged the woman to make contact with police in an appeal this morning and the woman has since been in touch to say she is safe and well.
Officers would like to thank the public for their help in sharing the appeal.
