POLICE are encouraging members of the public to report anti social behaviour after incidents in Wigan.
During the past month, there has been an increase in incidents in the Ince area of youths throwing eggs, apples and stones at passing cars.
Now police are urging the community to keep an eye out and report them to police.
Police Constable Sean Robinson said: “Unfortunately we have received reports of youths throwing items at bus drivers, taxi drivers and members of the public in a number of locations including Manchester Road and Warrington Road.
“This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and could put people’s lives at risk. I would encourage anyone who witnesses these incidents to call us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should phone police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
