THE work done by the specialist eating disorder team at the Helping Hands Clinic on Manchester Road, Ince, has been phenomenal.
A group of parents of sufferers have been meeting, over a brew, for the last few months to discuss the problems they face on a day-to-day basis.
With the superb help of Dr Sandeep Ranote, they have been able to help each other, and throughout the last week they have been doing their all to raise awareness of what can be a fatal illness.
Referrals in the borough are on the increase, but it is key to remember this is not a bad thing. Quite the opposite in fact – it’s great that they are getting help.
Children as young as 10 have received much needed help.
