READING various articles in your paper about TV programmes, it occurred to me that most are for children or young parents.
I also wonder at the intelligence of some of the producers.
We have to tolerate all the fancy advertisements before a programme is put on which appeals to our fancy, but every spoken word is drowned by background music that leaves us with a drumming headache.
What has happened to the BBC?
It’s certainly lost its favour with me, or should I prefer all those Americanised programmes?
I am not an internet user, but I like a good radio or TV programme in my old age, which I feel entitled to.
