Fears for our union’s future

I AM extremely concerned that the future of our previously United Kingdom as an exemplar of unity and democratic freedom to the world will now be seriously threatened by this Scottish referendum vote.

Cameron has seriously miscalculated by granting them this referendum, even if there is a ‘No vote’ this time round, there is now talk of yet another referendum vote on this same matter, in five years time. It is apparent this disintegration could take place without the remainder of the UK having any say in the dismantling of our country over our heads and which could stir up nationalistic Welsh and Irish parliaments to seek similar powers.
