Lost, one red teddy

CAN any readers help reunite my son with his lost teddy?

I have just arrived home to the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, after a wonderful weekend staying with my Nan on Martland Mill Lane.

We went into town on Saturday with my two young children for a walk down memory lane - I was born in Wigan 34 years ago and have family rooted here who I came to visit.

I wonder if readers of the Wigan Evening Post could help me.

Did anyone find or hand in at a shop a small deep red teddy, with a well worn ribbon hanging from his neck...he has a National Trust label on him and is packed with lavender and wheat...although he’s been so well loved by my little boy of three, that he’s quite ‘thin’ now!

We went to BHS in the Grand Arcade. We also went in British Heart Foundation and Oxfam charity shops, went to Greenhalghes for a pie and Uncle Joe’s sweet shop...but only looked in the window!

In a desperate last attempt to bring him home, we’d love to hear from anyone that might have seen him or picked him up during the day of Saturday, August, 13.

Many thanks,

Nichola White,

Forest of Dean.
