Osborne should resign after his AAA disaster

THE UK has lost its top AAA credit rating for the first time since 1978 on expectations that growth will remain sluggish over the next few years.

The ratings agency Moody’s became the first to cut the UK from its highest rating, to Aa1.

Moody’s said the government’s debt reduction programme faced significant challenges ahead. I think they mean, in a simple word, a failure, no, a total failure.

Chancellor George Osborne said the decision was a stark reminder of the debt problems facing our country. (Ruthless cutbacks you mean).

He said far from weakening our resolve to deliver our economic recovery plan, this decision redoubles it. We will go on delivering the plan that has cut the deficit by a quarter. (More cut backs).

It is about time the party who think being really nasty to the people of this country is the answer to everything got some real nastiness themselves.

Would these people in any way tolerate anybody who in a five year term has such appallingly bad results in three?

If nastiness is really going to put things right then why aren’t they getting lots of nastiness for failures, far worse than others’ performance.

The government and the chancellor especially should now stand down, it was not Labour that got us here, it was the Tories fat cat buddies in the banks.

Admit it gentleman, you cannot save the situation, step aside, let someone else do it.

But hold on, you changed the voting system to a strict five years without consulting us the public, guess you knew we would not have voted for it. Democracy? Where.

George, I think you need some lessons in basic economics as you clearly do not have a clue.

Dave you should have the guts to sack him.

RESIGN – look it up in the dictionary.

INCOMPETENT – look it up in the dictionary.

FAILURE – look it up in the dictionary.

What a mess and a total disgrace especially when this Government promised to look after our triple ‘A’ rating.

Doctors have to speak English

COMMON sense at last! Foreign doctors wanting to treat NHS patients in England will have to prove they have the necessary English skills, the government has confirmed. Concerns were raised after a German doctor, Dr Daniel Ubani, gave a patient a fatal overdose on his first and only shift in the UK. He had earlier been rejected for work because of poor English skills.

From April there will be a legal duty to ensure a doctor’s English is up to scratch before they are employed.

I can remember when Ukip leader Nigel Farage was at one time calling for this to be a legal requirement. And he was accused of being a racist! Why does it seem to take so long for this coalition government to wake up and smell the coffee? Just bring on the General Election, and quickly!
