Her Majesty The Queen is represented in the contest by Natural History who makes his return to action after 734 days off the track. He was last seen finished a good second at Haydock in September, 2018 and could be a force if retaining his old ability. Speed Company has his first run on the Flat in 401 days, but did capture a competitive event at Ripon back in June, 2019.

Heart Of Soul is unbeaten in his last two starts and was impressive over course and distance last time out. He is one of three runners for Chester enthusiast Dr Marwan Koukash along with Gabrials Boy who was third at Newcastle last time out and Arabist, who has been beaten at Chester on his last two starts.

Mafia Power needs to improve on a fourth-placed effort at Kempton, whilst Infrastructure could be of interest for Martyn Meade if he can rediscover his best form, which included a win at Chester last summer.

The other feature event is the £12,000 Please Support The Injured Jockey's Fund Handicap (4.00pm) over seven furlongs.

Sir Maximilian is a previous course and distance winner at the track and is not without a chance despite being an 11-year-old. Redrosezorro has won his last two starts and seems to be improving with racing for Eric Alston, whilst Buhturi targets a first victory of the season having finished a fine second in two competitive looking handicaps at Haydock and Newmarket respectively.

Course and distance winner Gabrial The Wire is respected, but has to shoulder top-weight for Richard Fahey, whilst Endowed has been running with credit this term and is another to consider.

The £10,400 #Goracinggreen Handicap over 10-furlong is another interesting event in which Surrey Pride will bid to defy top-weight for Joseph Tuite.

He was a gutsy winner by a neck at Newbury last time and will relish testing conditions. However, the list of dangers are headed by Rosa Gold who has looked a force to be reckoned with in bringing up a hat-trick for Rae Guest.

She bolted up at Chepstow last time despite meeting trouble in running and whilst she is 24lb higher in the weights than when her winning sequence started, there looks plenty more to come from this exciting prospect as she now steps up in grade.

Newmarket trainer Sir Michael Stoute saddles the unexposed Chichester who was a beaten favourite at Windsor last time out, but may appreciate thus drop in trip, whilst Wild Hero boasts winning form this season at Leicester and was not disgraced on his latest start when second over a mile at Sandown with the drop back down in trip in his favour.
