Portsmouth manager Paul Cook

The Portsmouth boss has been linked with the vacant role for several weeks, but has now emerged as the clear favourite.

Bookmakers have slashed the odds of Cook making the move to the DW Stadium.

He is a slender 1/10 with Skybet, ahead of Nathan Jones (7/1), Steve McClaren (10/1) and Uwe Rosler (12/1).
