Their 4-0 win at Fleetwood yesterday, coupled with Shrewsbury’s draw with Bury, ensured they will go up from League One this term.

Dave Whelan joined grandson David Sharpe, the current chairman, on the pitch to mark the milestone in their incredible history.

They congratulated Paul Cook on his achievement this season.
