The 24-year-old made it to the final three-man shortlist alongside Aaron Amadi-Holloway of Oldham Athletic and Sulley Kaikai of Shrewsbury Town and becomes the second Latics player to pick up the award this season, with Max Power voted as the winner for January.

On receiving news of the award, Grigg said: “It’s always nice to be given recognition like this, particularly when it’s voted for by supporters. It was a good month for me personally to add four goals, but more so for the team as we went unbeaten again and finished the month with three consecutive wins.”
