

How Wigan Athletic and their Championship rivals are predicted to vote on EFL proposal - resume or curtail?
Championship clubs are set to decide on whether to resume the 2019/20 season or curtail it - but how will Wigan Athletic and their division rivals vote?
A majority of 51% will be required in order to curtail the campaign, which would then see unweighted points per game settle the outcome.
Under this method, the top two of Leeds United and West Brom will achieve automatic promotion to the Premier League, while Fulham, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston North End will compete in the play-offs.
Relegation will also go ahead as planned, which is not good news for Charlton Athletic, Luton Town and Barnsley, or any of the relegation-threatened teams.

1. Barnsley
