Latics legends pull off triple swoop!

Graham Kavanagh, Nicky Eaden and Jason Jarrett are the latest trio of Latics legends to sign up for next month's Joseph's Goal charity match against Arjan de Zeeuw's Dutch Masters at Ashton Town.

They join the likes of Roberto Martinez, Graeme Jones, Paul Scharner, Emile Heskey, Chris Kirkland, Kevin Sharp, Stuart Barlow, Nathan Ellington, John Filan, Michael Brown, Ian Kilford, Neil Roberts and Alan Mahon in confirming their attendance, with more big names to be announced over the coming days.

The Dutch Masters squad has also been named for the big game on Friday, May 13.

It features three former Latics men, with Denny Landzaat and Jorg Smeets joining De Zeeuw in wearing orange rather than blue and white.

And the rest of the squad is packed full of Premier League experience, as well as a mountain of Dutch international caps.

Meanwhile, Scharner and De Zeeuw will be back together at the DW for ‘An Audience With...’ on Thursday, May 12.

It’s the perfect chance to get up, close and personal with two of the club’s greatest ever players and most larger-than-life characters.
