Latics ace Will Grigg has been named the winner of the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award for April.
And boss Paul Cook landed the Manager of the Month prize – for the third time this season.
Grigg scored six goals in eight games during April, including a hat-trick against his former club MK Dons.
Latics secured promotion with a 4-0 win over Fleetwood Town on April 21 and they will clinch the league title tomorrow if they avoid a defeat at Doncaster.
Grigg, 26, was delighted to receive the accolade but heaped the praise on his team-mates for making it possible.
He said: “It’s great to pick up these awards but I can’t stress enough how much it’s been a team effort.
“The lads have been brilliant throughout, obviously it’s nice for me to get the goals, but it’s been a collective effort, and I wouldn’t have got this award without them.
“I’m one of those players who have always said that if I get chances, I score goals, and this team create chances left-right and centre.”
