WIGAN Athletic have announced that they are putting on free travel to the game at Fulham this Friday.
Following Easter Monday’s defeat to Derby, Latics lie eight points adrift of safety with five matches to go, leaving their hopes of survival very slim.
If they are to pull off a remarkable escape, the fixture at Craven Cottage is one they simply must win, with the London outfir also struggling.
As a result the club wants to get as many fans to the game as possible. However, those hoping to take up the offer must do so by tomorrow (Wednesday) by 2pm.
Chairman David Sharpe said: “We have a huge five games ahead of us and we will keep fighting to stay in this division, starting on Friday. We need the supporters to come to London and back the team.
“This is when we need to stick together as a football club, on and off the field, starting on Friday.”
All supporters who purchase a ticket from the DW Stadium ticket office will receive a complimentary coach ticket.
Those who have already purchased are advised contact the ticket office for details of how to register, on 0871 6633552.
Supporters who have already paid for their coach travel via the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club will receive a refund.
