ROBERTO Martinez is closing in on one more signing that would complete his January spending.
The Wigan boss is already off to a flyer in terms of his mid-season recruitment, with two new-boys already on board.
Roger Espinoza has joined from Sporting Kansas City on a free, while Latics have also secured a loan deal for Manchester United starlet Angelo Henriquez.
And Martinez has revealed one more incoming would leave him with all bases covered ahead of the second half of the campaign.
“We want to bring in one more outfield player during this window, and that is where most of our work is focused on,” Martinez told the Evening Post.
“I would feel then that we would be fully equipped to handle the second part of the season.
“It’s not something that is going to happen overnight – I think it might go all the way to the end of the window. But we are prepared to wait as long as it takes, and I would be satisfied with one more body on board that we would be in perfect shape.”
