IVAN Ramis will be given every chance to prove his fitness for tomorrow’s trip to Norwich.

The Spanish centre-back picked up a hamstring injury during the 3-2 victory over Reading, but has responded well to treatment this week.

Skipper Gary Caldwell also has hamstring trouble, although he is not expected to recover in time.

Roberto Martinez is boosted by the return of Maynor Figueroa after a one-match suspension.

However, the news is less positive concerning the rest of Wigan’s walking wounded – Antolin Alcaraz (groin), Albert Crusat (knee), Ben Watson (broken leg) and Ryo Miyaichi (ankle) are out.
