LATICS boss Uwe Rosler is keeping his fingers crossed the hamstring injury sustained by Nick Powell last night is not serious.

The on-loan Manchester United man was replaced by Nicky Maynard in the closing stages of the Riverside stalemate after pulling up.

And Rosler faces a worrying wait before discovering the extent of Powell’s problem.

“We will see how he is, we had to take him off,” he said.

It was a negative end to a disappointing night for the German, who felt his side could and should have done more to push for the win.

“It wasn’t a decent point, not really,” Rosler added. “If you’d asked me before the game, I would have taken the point. But having seen the game, especially the second half, I feel there was more there for us.

“I was just so disappointed with the first half. We started so lethargic. We are a very good side when we play with tempo, but when we slow it down and play it into feet, we are very average.”
