SHAUN Wane is happy the council has backed the Warriros in their bid to win a 19th Challenge Cup at Wembley by repeating the ‘Believe’ campaign.

The Warriors boss is aiming to emulate Wigan Athletic’s FA Cup win earlier in the year’ but admits he hasn’t yet met Owen Coyle to share ideas like he did with previous boss Roberto Martinez.

“I’m broad Wigan, and Owen Coyle broad Scottish, so there probably isn’t much point,” joked Wane.

“I’ve not met him yet but I’m hoping to get up there and see what they are up to at Christopher Park.”
