WIGAN Athletic will jet out to La Manga as part of their pre-season programme.
The club has announced a number of fixtures on British soil following their trip to Spain.
As revealed in the Wigan Evening Post last week, Latics will take part in two training camps with the second in Scotland.
No home games are planned as yet with players returning to training in little mover a month’s time on June 25.
They will head for their week-long warm-weather training camp in early July, but the side is not set to take part in any games during this period during this period.
Upon their return to the UK they will travel to conference side Altrincham, kick-off time TBC, before visiting Southport on Saturday, July 18, kick-off 3pm.
The following week will see Latics head up to manager Gary Caldwill’s native Scotland for another training camp and fixtures with SPL sides Patrick Thistle, on Tuesday July 21, kick-off 7.30pm and Dundee on Friday July 24, kick-off 7pm.
The side’s final match before the Sky Bet League One season kicks off will be on Saturday August 1 as Caldwell against Blackburn Rovers, kick-off 3pm.
