First-half goals from Divin Baningime and Charlie Jolley gave Wigan Athletic a 2-1 victory at Wolves in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
Baningime opened the scoring on the half-hour mark with an exquisite half-volley, with Jolley making it 2-0 with a tidy finish shortly before the interval after good work from Joe Gelhardt.
Austin Samuels pulled one back for Wolves shortly after the restart, with Latics goalkeeper Bobby Jones helpless.
But the visitors held on to book a fourth-round trip to Hull City - and could even have extended their lead in the final quarter.
Latics are also going great guns in the EFL Youth Alliance, which they currently lead by a whopping 10 points.
