Josh Windass scored the game's only goal in the 74th minute to inflict West Brom's first league defeat since August.

Windass- who occupied the central striker role following the injury to star marksman Grigg- switched on the burners to accelerate past Sam Morsy's international team-mate Ahmed Hegazi before unleashing an unstoppable low drive into the bottom corner.

West Brom, who have been in free-scoring form this season, failed to find the target for only the second time this term, with Hegazi coming the closest late-on when he hit the side-netting from a deep corner.
