Fans invaded the pitch at the full-time whistle, with one involved in an altercation with City striker Sergio Aguero.

Wigan won the 2013 final 1-0, and the following year's quarter-final 2-1.

This season, Will Grigg was the hero, scoring the only goal in the 1-0 win.

Latics, who are aiming for the League One title after securing promotion last Saturday, admitted the charge.
