Wigan Athletic sign Joe Garner from Ipswich Town

The 30-year-old joins from Latics' Championship rivals on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The Blackburn-born striker made his league debut back in January 2006 for Carlisle United during a loan spell at Brunton Park from his hometown club Blackburn Rovers and has more than 100 goals to his name.

A one-season stay at Ibrox preceded Garner’s move to Ipswich, where he scored 10 Championship goals last season.
Latics boss Paul Cook said: “Joe has scored over 100 league goals in his career to date and gives us another option in attack.”
