Wigan Athletic’s final away day of the season at Blackpool will now kick off at 12.30pm.
The move has been made on police advice with fans of the Seaside of the club organising a protest against the owners,
A statement on the Latics website said that the move was “in the interests of crowd safety and public order, given the high-profile nature of the fixture, and the potential impact a result could have on both ends of the Sky Bet League One table.”

This decision has been made following discussions between the clubs, Lancashire Police, the Football League and other relevant authorities.
