GARY Caldwell reckons the Wigan Athletic jigsaw is slowly coming together with West Brom defender Donervon Daniels becoming his fourth summer signing.
The 21-year-old centre-back has moved to Wigan from the Premier League outfit on a three-year deal.
There is a lot of hard work going on, and hopefully soon the fans will be able to see these players coming in to the club and getting involved in the pre-season programmeGary Caldwell
Daniels follows in the footsteps of goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell, centre-back Craig Morgan and midfielder David Perkins, with Bolton’s Sanmi Odelusi and Max Power of Tranmere expected to be confirmed shortly.
With up to 15 new players in total scheduled to arrive this summer, Caldwell acknowledges it’s all hands to the pump at the moment.
“Every day there’s talks between myself and the chairman,” he told WiganToday,
“We’re on the phone five or six times a day, talking about different players, different options, putting bids in.

Latics handed over a nominal fee for Daniels, with the Baggies also receiving add-ons and a sell-on clause.
Daniels played against Latics last term, one of 19 appearances made during his loan spell at Blackpool.
He finished the campaign on loan at Aberdeen, where playing a further nine matches before returning to West Brom.
Having come through the ranks at the Hawthorns, Daniels was out of contract this summer and has opted for a fresh start in the north west.
Striker Oriol Riera should complete his transfer to Deportivo La Coruna by the end of the week.
