Max Power has today left Wigan Athletic.
The midfielder’s three year stay with with the club has come to an end after signing for League One outfit Sunderland.
The move, which had been expected, was confirmed this morning.
He leaves initially on a loan deal, which will be made permanent in January.
Latics manager Paul Cook said: “Max leaves with our best wishes, he has been an excellent servant to Wigan Athletic.”
Power, 25, is in the top 50 all-time league appearance makers for Latics, having featured in 127 league games - and 143 in all competitions, in which time he scored 11 goals - since signing from Tranmere Rovers.
