Wigan Athletic have signed Sheffield United midfielder Lee Evans.
The deal brings Evans ot the DW Stadium initially on loan until January, when the move will be made permanent.
The 24-year-old will link up with Paul Cook’s squad immediately, and will sign a two-and-a-half year deal in January.
Capped three times by Wales, Evans scored three goals in 23 appearances for Latics last season in a loan spell from Wolves, prior to signing for Sheffield United.
Paul Cook said: “We loved working with Lee last season and our supporters know all about the quality he brings to our squad.
“Lee played quite a few games in the Championship last season and is involved with the Wales squad as well, so he has great pedigree and we hope he picks up where he left off here at the DW Stadium.”
