Like the majority of small businesses, Studio One Yoga had to close their doors earlier last month due to lockdown.

But they have since created a host of online classes to allow the local (and wider) community to continue getting on the mat to move their bodies!

Under normal circumstances the Standish studio – led by Michelle Almond – hold a number of charity events throughout the year to raise money for good causes.

But given the current lockdown restrictions they are using their online classes to support ‘The Big Night In’ instead.

Classes are open to anyone and there are three chances throughout the day to join in – 8am: Wake Up Yoga; 9.45am: Over 60’s Yoga; 6pm: Flow with Breath.

To get involved, head to www.studiooneyoga.co.uk/onlineschedule to book a spot and make a donation.

All proceeds will provide essential support to local charities, projects, and programmes across the UK.

This funding will not only provide vital emergency support during the coronavirus pandemic, but also ensure vulnerable people of all ages are safe, warm and fed and that they are able to continue to learn, and stay connected in order to combat isolation and loneliness.
