Thomas Leuluai (ankle) and Sean O'Loughlin (hamstring) will miss out, but should be back for their following match against Catalans two weeks later.

And though Ben Flower has served a one match ban, he is nursing a back problem which will delay his return. Centre Oliver Gildart and prop Tony Clubb are still absent and George Burgess has a one game ban.

But Bevan French has been cleared to face the Rhinos after recovering from a back injury sustained in last week's 23-22 win against Wakefield.

Harry Smith has been promoted from the bench and will start in place of Leuluai, while Adrian Lam says the likes of Joe Greenwood, Joe Burgess and youngsters Joe Shorrocks and Amir Bourouh may come into the picture. Kick-off at St Helens on Sunday is 6.30pm and the behind-closed-doors game is being televised by Sky Sports.

Leeds welcome back centre Konrad Hurrell and halfback Rob Lui, while Liam Sutcliffe is back in contention after recovering from a lengthy injury lay-off.

The squad also includes new signing Bodene Thompson from Toronto Wolfpack, whilst Alex Sutcliffe is now available after the match was moved back 24 hours to be played on Sunday. Sutcliffe failed a head injury assessment in last Sunday’s clash with Saints and would have missed the original Saturday date due to the mandatory seven day lay off but he is now available to play on Sunday.
