Wigan were out-scored three tries to two, with former Warrior Josh Charnley going over in the final moments to bring the Wolves level.

But Wiganer Stefan Ratchford missed the touchline conversion, allowing Josh Woods to nail a one-pointer with 23 seconds left to give Warriors the spoils.

September 14

Wigan 26 Warrington 6

This Super 8s game felt quite flat despite Wigan being just two points up with 20 minutes to go.

Tommy Leuluai dislocated his finger scoring the only try of the first half before Stefan Ratchford replied.

But Dom Manfredi, returning from a two-year injury absence, brought the game to life in the final 10 minutes with two tries, and Ryan Sutton capped off the win with the final score of the night.
