Leeds Rhinos' Rohan Smith reflects on his side's play-off victory over Wigan Warriors
Leeds head coach Rohan Smith says his side always had belief in themselves during their play-off semi-final victory against Wigan Warriors.
The Rhinos booked their place in the Grand Final at Old Trafford with a 20-8 win at the DW Stadium.
Smith states he was never concerned despite Wigan dominating in the first half.

Hide AdHe said: “I’m really proud. I’m privileged to be part of it, we’ll let the dust settle and think about next week.


"It comes down to a whole lot of hard work over a long period of time. Some blokes have been preparing for that their whole life.
“The connection of the group in the last two or three months is what held us together out there when we had to defend our line a lot.

Hide Ad"Our goal-line defence has been very good for a long period of time now, everyone is just pretty calm and relaxed, doing their job.
“I wasn’t worried in the first half, it’s part of the game, there’s a belief in the group that we’d find our way through it.
"Everyone felt pretty good about themselves going in at 4-2.”
