The hooker and team-mate Willie Isa took part in the ‘ultimate shark dive encounter’ at the Blue Planet aquarium, in Chester.
They were invited along as part of McIlorum’s testimonial celebrations marking 10 years in the Wigan first-team – talk about being thrown in at the deep end!
