Romain Navarrete leaves Wigan Warriors to join London Broncos

French forward Romain Navarrete has become the latest player to leave Wigan.

Romain Navarette was under contract with Wigan

The 26-year-old has joined Championship side London Broncos, as reported by Wigantoday last month.

He was under contract with the Warriors for 2021 but hadn't been given a squad number, and was widely expected to leave. He spent last season on loan at Wakefield.

Navarrete, signed from Catalans, joined Wigan in 2017 and went on to make 59 appearances, including the 2018 Betfred Super League Grand Final win over Warrington Wolves.

He joins Chris Hankinson (loan) at London while Joe Burgess (Salford), Joe Greenwood (Huddersfield), Sean O'Loughlin (retirement), Ben Flower (Leigh) and Jake Shorrocks (Newcastle) are among the other players who have left.
