Wane: No panic to sign
But the Warriors boss insists there is “no panic” to make a signing, either on loan or permanently.
It comes as Leigh owner Derek Beaumont has denied Wigan are chasing Centurions hooker Bob Beswick.

Hide AdEx-Warriors player Beswick had been linked with a move to his home-town club.
Sam Powell is set to be promoted from the bench, but Wane’s back-up options have been restricted by injuries to reserve players Luke Waterworth and Jake Shorrocks.
Wane said: “If we’ve someone available we will have a look.
“If I can bring someone in who can make us better I will do that. But there’s no panic. I’m gutted for Micky, but I’m not stressed.
“I’ve got Kyle Shelford, Josh Ganson - Luke is injured at the moment - but we have players who can go there.”

Sean O’Loughlin has also played there.
Either way, Wane knows his team must collectively raise their game to cover for the loss of McIlorum’s defensive grit.
“It’s a challenge for the team to pick up the slack,” he said.
“Sam defends tough, he hasn’t go quite the mongrel in his game but he will get it.”
