A pair of Wigan Warriors fans will have the opportunity to join the first team as they walk through the Robin Park Arena fan village ahead of Sam Powell’s testimonial game against Salford Red Devils.

Matty Peet’s side will enter the DW Stadium, for the warm-up, via the club’s training facility and through the South West corner of the ground, in a repeat of what they did prior to last season’s Super League meeting with Catalans Dragons.

The game, which takes place on February 5 (K.O. 3pm), will be the Warriors’ final outing of pre-season, and the first bit action in 2023 for a lot of the senior players.

The Wigan Warriors squad walked through the Robin Park Arena fan village ahead of last season's game against Catalans Dragons

The walk through will take place around 35 minutes before kick off, with a unique opportunity available for two supporters to be part of the occasion.

As part of a special auction for Sam Powell’s testimonial, fans can bid for a chance to make the walk through Robin Park Arena alongside the players.
