IQONIQ will replace Prestone as the principal partner on what the club describe as a "multi-year deal".

Its name will emblazon the front of next season's shirt, which will be cherry with black hoops and white trim and produced by hummel.

The Warriors - who this week launched a new badge - have a policy of breaking with tradition every three years.

But they did that with this season's retro look, making this the second successive season they will have not worn cherry and white hoops.

Geoff Warburton, the club's sales director, said: "Given that 2022 will be our 150th anniversary when we will naturally opt for a traditional cherry and white kit, we wanted to give our designers the freedom to create something a little different to coincide with our new identity."

IQONIQ, which will launch ahead of the 2021 Betfred Super League season, aims to provide fans "greater connectivity with global sports clubs, athletes and entertainment stars". Other premium rights-holders include La Liga, McLaren Racing, AS Roma, AS Monaco and Crystal Palace.

Sales of replica shirts will be online only via store.wiganwarriors.com at present due to government restrictions regarding non-essential shops, though a contact-free click and collect service will be available from the reception at Robin Park Arena in line with government guidelines.

Collections can be made between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, though fans are asked to leave 24 hours before making a collection and are strongly urged to use the home delivery service where possible, in order to minimise non-essential journeys.

Next year’s home shirt will be available in all sizes (from 0-6 months up to 8XL), priced at £39.99 for juniors and £49.99 for adults. Mini kits, plus shorts and socks, will also be available.
