GREG Burke is hoping to move a step closer to securing his Wigan future this weekend – by helping beat the Warriors.
The 22-year-old forward is on a season-long loan at Hull KR.

And as he prepares to face his parent club on Sunday afternoon, Burke hopes to catch the eye of coach Shaun Wane.
He said: “I go out and aim to play well every week, but obviously this is one game when I know they’ll be watching so hopefully I can play well against them.
“It’s going to be a bit strange playing against my mates.
“The plan is still to come back to Wigan - that’s by goal long term.
“I want get back to Wigan and try and knock my way into that team, and the best way of doing that is by performing well for Hull KR until the end of the year.”
Burke figured 17 times in 2013 but only six appearances last year and, following the signing of Joel Tomkins, was allowed to join the Robins to secure more first-team action.
The ex-Ince Rose Bridge junior has played loose forward in both of Hull KR’s two Super League games – losses to Leeds and Wakefield.
Chris Chester made sweeping changes to his squad in the off-season, bringing in a dozen new players including ex-Warrior Darrell Goulding.
“We’ve still got a bit to do to fully gel, some things just aren’t clicking yet, but we’re working hard and realise we’ve got to be paitient,” he added.
