DOM Manfredi looks set to replace Josh Charnley in the Wigan side for Friday’s homecoming match against Salford.

Manfredi seized his chance when the England winger suffered an injury in March, scoring 12 tries in nine appearances.

And his sparkling form saw him hold onto his place even when Charnley was fit again, before he was sidelined by an ankle injury in Wigan’s last match at the DW six weeks ago.

He has replaced Charnley in the 19-man squad – on a day when the England winger admitted his Wigan career is “at a crossroads”.

Charnley has scored three tries in the five games but has struggled to capture top form.

“To say I am frustrated with how things are going for me this year is a massive understatement,” he wrote in his weekly column.

“I honestly can never see myself playing for any other Super League club but I am starting to wonder where my career is going and what the future really holds,”

Warriors 19-man squad: John Bateman, Matty Bowen, Joe Burgess, Dom Crosby, Connor Farrell, Liam Farrell, Ben Flower, Ryan Hampshire, Dom Manfredi, Michael McIlorum, Lee Mossop, Sean O’Loughlin, Larne Patrick, Sam Powell, Dan Sarginson, Matty Smith, Taulima Tautai, Joel Tomkins, George Williams.
