Tony Clubb has been sidelined by injury.

He has a problem to his ‘lower back area’ which is set to rule him out of the Easter schedule.

It is unclear yet how long Clubb may be sidelined for until he has been assessed this week.

He missed Wigan’s pre-season programme with a lower back problem, but recovered to play his part in their early matches.

The setback is a blow for the former London captaign, who saw his 2016 campaign cut short by a serious neck injury.

While Wigan’s injury woes are easing, with four key players back this week, they are still without John Bateman, Sam Tomkins, Oliver Gildart and Dom Manfredi.

Shaun Wane will name his provisional 19-man squad to face St Helens today.
