SHAUN Wane is preparing for a late-night of intense thought and discussion as he ponders his ClubCall selection.
The Warriors coach will announce his decision at a media conference at the DW Stadium at 12.30pm tomorrow.
And he will wait until after the conclusion of this evening’s play-off match between Warrington and Hull FC before fully considering his options.
He said: “I’ve already had a think about it, but obviously I’ll have a clearer idea after this game.
“Whoever we pick will be a good side who can do a job on their day.”
While many predict he will follow the trend of the past three seasons and opt for the lowest-placed outfit – which would be Hull FC if they are victorious this evening – he will speak with others at the club before making a decision.
Chairman Ian Lenagan, assistant coaches Paul Deacon and Iestyn Harris as well as a group of senior players – including skipper Sean O’Loughlin – will all be consulted.
“It’ll be a joint decision by the coaching staff, based on everyone’s input,” added Wane.
The semi-final takes place at the DW next Friday, with St Helens hosting the other contest the following day.
