TWO tries apiece from England duo Josh Charnley and Liam Farrell helped Warriors to a hard-fought but well-deserved 32-18 victory at Huddersfield.
Wigan trailed 6-0 and 12-6 after touchdowns from Jared Simpson and Joe Wardle put the Giants in charge.
But after Farrell had put Joe Burgess under the posts, the winger returned the favour to restore parity at 12-12.
Charnley edged Wigan ahead for the first time at the start of the second period with a lovely finish after good work from John Bateman and Joel Tomkins.
But Matty Smith hit the post with the conversion, and Huddersfield regained the lead at 18-16 after a length-of-the-field special from Danny Brough that he also converted.
After that, though, it was all one-way traffic as Farrell and Charnley added their second tries, with Smith tagging on a penalty to extend the advantage to 10 points.
And the icing was added to the cake just before full-time when John Bateman crashed over by the posts.
